Hello Pilots,

As some of you might follow Heatblur´s Grumman F-14 A and B Tomcat Development for the last couple years, so some of you might already know about the upcoming unveiling of the Tomcat.

For those who dont know, Heatblur has scheduled an unveiling on October 7th (Sunday) at heatblur.com, time of day is yet to be determined.
Nobody knows so far whether this is actually a stream where the Tomcat will be shown to the public only or will it also be the start of either the pre purchase Phase or even the full release, Nobody knows. But who wants to know more about it should read the September development update on the ED Forums.

As this is my off Weekend I´ll definately watch this and if time of day is not too late/early, I´ll also hang around in TS.

to be honest, it confuses me a bit actually. The Countdown seems to be there since the initial announcement, but it has only be set on the Frontpage of their homepage. By searching for heatblur you´ll get directed to the store only, which shows no countdown of course. I think they could have make it a bit more obvious, even Cobra´s signature does not refer to their frontpage, just to the Facebook page, which is a bit weired imho...however, now I know at least which time of day it will take place.

I´ve had a Facebook Chat with Heatblur shortly and they confirmed the availability of the Tomcat, to use their words..."in fact it is right around the Corner"... So I pretty much believe that the unveiling will also start the prepurchase Phase, the release might be then in November or December, we´ll see.
