Testing Required
If you'd like to help, before I release the next version could anyone test this version with a small group? You'll need to update the server and client and only the test version will work against it. What I need tested is muliple people speaking at once (or just holding transmit) and telling me if you still get the tiny stutter between speakers words. This version is also signed which should mean Windows doesn't come up with the unknown application anymore.

DO NOT USE THIS TESTING VERSION AGAINST THE RELEASE VERSION - It wont work and may break stuff
Can we give CiriBob some help on this?
3 or 4 who are confident with SR and the file manager is all that it would take. The server can be run anywhere... Just need to co-ordinate a common time... I said I would try and come back by the end of the weekend...
Here's hoping....

Re: Simple Radio Dev
Nothing came to fruit over the weekend... My Internet has been that bad it would have been impossible to take part for me anyway and no one else took over the torch.
I said that I would come back to Ciribob on Sunday night at the latest... that did not happen.
The Battalion at HCC / Company Commanders have stated we are to use SR.
Please let us support the writer so he can develop it.
If you are reading this and can use or set up SR then please make an effort to test it tonight.
I will be on from 2200z.
We need ideally 6 people more would be better.
We would need to be focused... in other words no idle chatter.
It will take about 10 -15 minutes once we have a 'quorum' so to speak if you have SR up and running.
The process....
Rename ALL your SR files (incl export.lua) in your saved games script folder to another name ....-ORIG for example.
Rename your SR folder in c:\program files\ to something else.
Install the experimental SR.
Some one ideally with a static IP run the new server.
All jump in a huey at the same airfield.
split into 2 - 3 groups, use different frequencies, mute TS, and put some heavy talk down... so that there are multiple conversations simultaneously going on on different frequencies at the same time on one server... simples...
What we arer looking for is breakup or stuttering.......
Return your script and SR folders to their original state.
