Hi folks   < S > (Salute)

Been flying numerous Aircraft sims (Fixed wing & Rotary) since 1995 (roughly) with a tendency to fly 10,000 rotating parts all flying in formation (hopefully all at the same time). I do have the Mustang & A10C & KA50 from DCS.
As my 1st flight in the DCS Huey has been with me for a little over a year, I've been itching to join a group of like minded Pilot's for a while,--I finally bit the bullet !

I'm 51... Burlington, VT(USA) is where I call home & I'm semi retired from Aviation: A&P with PPSEL.

Looking forward to getting the bad habits (hopefully minor) straightened out & getting  my swash plate "Filled"

I'll fly slicks (Alpha Company) when needed  & Like to blow Sh**t up when I can (Delta Company) whenever I can get the chance.  I get a challenge in both. heheheh

No matter what Company I'm assigned.....  I'll pay my dues !

Hi Hawkeye...welcome to the 1st Cav Div.  Like BBall said, we are a like minded group of aviation enthusiast that love flying the UH-1 in particular.  I'm the battalion executive officer and will make myself available to you for any question that you might have.  The battalion commander is Lt. Colonial Skullz.  He is the final authority on anything 1st Cav Div.  

There are quite a few real world pilots here, some rotor and some fixed wing.  Most helicopter pilots are slotted as Instructor Pilots. The fixed wing guys...we just tolerate...lol.  Kidding aside they add a great deal of knowledge to the group. 

I am one of the IP's.  I flew the UH-1 for sixteen years and will be responsible for your training and check ride.  You can also tap into one of the other IP's for any question you may have.  Look for GunfighterSix (Battalion Standard IP also RW UH-60 pilot), Samri ("C" Company IP also RW Fixed wing and UH-1 pilot/instructor), Xtra ("D" Company IP [attack] and RW AH-64 pilot).

You will be assigned to "A" Company flying "slicks".  Your company commander is Capt. Showtime and he will be along shortly to get you sorted out.  Find any battalion member on Team Speak and they will get you up and running

Welcome aboard mate. You're welcome to join in and fly with any company members you see on Teamspeak. We at C Coy have our own dedicated server based in Melbourne Australia that currently has a dedicated 100/100mbps link so even though the ping may look quite high, it's very reliable and you're welcome to use it whenever it is online.
