Greetings. My name is Mike, call sign Thud, and I am intersted in joining.

i live in Virginia, USA. My one concern is that I float between day shift and evening shift frequently. About every three weeks which would make it difficult to commit to activities as often as I would like to.

My interests are the UH-1 and the Mi-8 and love flying both in various roles. I have experience with mission building including using MIST/CTLD. I have Open Beta installed presently but able to add others if necesary.

I enjoy flying with others online and always interested in learning from others.

G’Day Thud, welcome mate, I’m sure you’ll enjoy the 229th. I wouldn’t worry too much about working shift work as we are spread out all over the globe so there is usually someone around all hours. We would definitely appreciate having a few more people to fly with in our timezone down here in Australia. The Euro guys are very active and always welcoming as well. You’ll definitely find everyone all over the globe very helpful and super friendly so I’m sure you’ll have lots of fun.

I can’t set you up as I’m not that clever but the instructors and senior guys all watch this page for new guys so won’t be long before someone comes along and gets you all set up.
