Rookie on the Huey looking to improve his skills
Hi everyone!
After I saw the 8MATES video on several locations I decided to investigate, turns out they are part of a Huey division!
So I'm Simon and I am flying (if you can call it that) the Huey for a few (-+5-10) hours now. I know how to start her up and I can hover, kinda. Flying goes fine, landings are a bit tricky (I need more patience for my approaches). I'm looking to improve my skills and getting to know more fellow Huey drivers.
I have the HOTAS Warthog and TF Rudder Pedals (not too fond of them actually) I plan on making a stick extension when I have time.
IRL I'm studying Aerospace Engineering and I'm having some helicopter related courses at the moment. I dream of flying but that will probably take some time...
EDIT: Oh yeah, I live in the Netherlands, so B Company is the best I think.
Regards,
Simon
