FORUM Broadcast FUNCTION

229th AHB has some 280+ registered accounts,

Of these

• A Coy has 116
  
• B Coy has 67
  
• C Coy has 21
  
• D Coy has 9
  

....leaving some 70 odd stateless.  Despite these high numbers the vast majority of have either moved on to other pastimes, lost their account details or are having an extremely long hiatus.

When REQUIRED MODs changes were made I GROUP PM'ed all Companies of the changes but most were not delivered and I deleted them from the outbox after a week.  Those that were sent, I sure some ended up in the spam box either by default or design.

Lately I've had several PM's requesting

• No more PM's to be sent
  
• More PM's to be sent and to include upcoming EVENTS and missions etc.  (This I presume is because most people only read the scrolling list of new posts rather than use the 'view posts from last visit' function and consequently stuff can be missed.)
  

Maybe this will work.... I've created a new USERGROUP called BROADCAST.  

If you would like to receive PM's detailing MOD changes, New MISSIONS, New Events, Server information updates etc then at the TOP MENU select USERGROUPS and select BROADCAST.  You will now receive PMs as above.  If you do not want any more... then just go to the top menu again,. select USERGROUPS and leave the BROADCAST group.

Joining BROADCAST will not effect your normal company membership.

I have added Coy Commanders and Unit Trainers by default.  If you do not want to receive them, I apologise for being presumptive, please just leave the BROADCAST usergroup.
