Hi Chaps,

I have been working on getting this model finished for when the  AJS-37 Viggen is released.  Not much left to do on the modelling side, just some textures and then into DCS.

Its taken about 30 hours to get to this stage in the project.

I use Maya and have done so as a hobbyist for 15 to 20 years,  Started with Max but havent used that for a long time, I have 2014 installed though so that i can create the EDM files.

update on the project:  

Done most of the texturing, just putting the finishing touches to her,  I have also done the radar animation which is working perfectly and animated in the sim;

Hi Chaps,

Project update, just working on the texturing at the moment, ship is in the Sim and working, Lua files are created, just need some reference images of the gun detail as i cannot find any close up images.

Managed to get some reference images for the gun and have finished modelling that.

Just a few tweaks here and there from a texture perspective and then its ready to kill some Viggens

Well i have granted your wish Wallaby, I have modelled a variant of the Alligator which has a helipad, can start from the ship also, just a little more texturing work on it and then i will release to the community.

Very nice...just make sure there are no Viggens in the AO when doing ops on the 1171...might go BOOM and disappear...lol

OK here is a project update, nearly finished

Textures are complete
modelling is completed
Just working on the final weapon systems then we are good to launch
