Guinness requesting permission to join
Hello fellow aviators,
I'd like to start out by saying, "Right on!". I would like to introduce myself. I go by Guinness in the gaming community. I am 40 yrs old. I recently retired from the U.S. Army in Dec 2013. My MOS was 15T UH-60A/L Helicopter CE/FI/Mechanic. I have over 2000 flt hrs in a hawk as a CE. I have flown the full blown UH-60 SIM at Hunter AAF many of times. Man she flies like a Cadillac compared to the Huey. You actually have to fly the Huey. Lol. I have a lot of flight knowledge. I have thousands of hours in flight Sims ranging from FS2004, FSX, Pro Pilot, XPlane, Falcon 3.0, 4.0., DCS. You get the point. I was reading forums and watching YouTube videos of your flights and instantly fell in love. I am limited on playtime because of my current job. However, I am actively looking for one with better hours. I live in Phoenix, Az. I hope I am considered in the recruitment process. Would love to fly some formation and do some missions with actual people. Looking forward to hearing from you.
P.S. Forgot to mention, I run G940, TrackIr5. I also do live streams on twitch tv.

Great.
Guinness, brewed in dublin, is the only beer worth drinking IMHO.... none of your US stuff comes near.... but then I'm biased a little, Belgium and a few Dutch & German beers do though....

Guinness is great!
Only thing I drank .... until I discovered IPA's. Now that I've developed taste buds for the hop, nothing but a finely-crafted super-hoppy IPA will do. Buzzsaw is my favorite. Hmmm. Maybe I should change my handle to reflect my beer taste as well??

If you can get it on that side of the pond, a simple Flowers IPA straight from the cask is lovely on a hot day. Personally though I like my beer darker. I'm sat parked up in the sun with a pint of hobgoblin right now.
Oh and welcome to the Cav.

Dark beer is great for your health believe it or not. A pint of Guinness has as much nutrition as a bowl of Total. Have a 4 pack of beer for breakfast, you'll be ready for the day.

Would you believe it I was raised in a pub.... and at 8 years of age I could rack the wooden barrels on their side, tap them without spilling a drop and knew to the hour when it would have settled and could be drawn....
And I remember when dad took all the beer engines out and replaced them with those silly pressurised cask systems.... dad gave me all the old engines and I sold them to the scrap man - they would be worth a huge fortune now! 30 complete brass beer engines! Of course, now we've gone full circle... I remissness... yawn.....

Quaffing not a Guinness, but a homebrew 'Newcastle' knock-off at the moment. We also make our own (deadly!) mead.

Welcome to the 229th Guinness. I spent a fair amount of time with the UH-60A. Much of my time was with the UH-1H but I transitioned to the UH-60A in 1988 and loved flying her but still can't get past my love for the UH-1...Like you said...you actually have to fly the Huey...not many know what you mean by that...lol

Re: Guinness requesting permission to join
Thank you all for the warm Welcome. Much appreciated. I literally could not tell you how much Guinness I've drank in my lifetime. More than my liver and kidneys should ever be able to handle, however, it will not stop me from enjoying a pint of Ireland's finest. My last trip out of Iraq, we stopped through Dublin and actually had a pint off the ol' tap. I swear I was in heaven
Now that I have an Irish wife, we are gonna have to go visit the motherland. Too bad a huey couldn't be our taxi. Just got done driving, so time to retire for the night. Just wanted to drop a line since I seen a plethora of responses.
