like i said on the ED forum, lots of time spent learning HLSL code and rewritting everything to DX11 stnadard (read most time spent debugging extremely small changes in code structure
)

Hey guys. Getting very close to the original product. Color/tint, size adjustable and fade/ring are all now included HERE
Taking a fair bit of time and alot of head scratching, my now recently fiance is wondering why im still doing bloody maths now that exams are finished. I tried to explain it was for the flight sim I like playing....

Hey guys
DCS changed something in 1.5.5 and my NVG mod doesnt work.
download and copy this file
https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B1s7D5Bzv2DFSGp6UEhJanVWc1E
into /nvg mod folder/Bazar/shaders/PostEffects/nvd.fx overwriting the old one. this will make the mod work again, only needed for 1.5.5 but should work fine in DCS2 aswell

Hey everyone (posted the following on DCS forums but thought I would share here as well)
I am working on a new version of this mod that is more physically accurate.
Here you can see my new light intensity algorithm at work but I haven't applied a noise function (something I'm working on, trying to get a more realistic grain effect that inst so repetitive). The new version has a better (I feel) bloom effect and light blowout effect (when an NVG is overload when too many bright sources are close together).
Below my screen grab is some photos through a real NVG, as you can see the grain is significant hence why Im spending a bit of time on trying to get it right.
