Re: Blue Flag Online
Hi Flick...I'm unaware of this campaign. Some of the other members may have knowledge of this event. I think it may be something we can look into.

I signed up as a lonewolf, looks very promising but would be even better joining as a team

Re: Blue Flag Online
Flew online on the test server today, the mission is structured in such a way that rotorwing operations really can make a difference, I can really recommend everyone that is possible interested in reading the SOP:
http://www.foinikas.org/ftp/public/DCS_World/Briefings/Buddy%20Spike/SOP%20OPERATION%20BLUE%20FLAG.pdf
I would be up for signing up as a batallion.

Re: Blue Flag Online
Oh yes, it's excellent, deployed a sneaky SA-6 battery yesterday near sochi, moments later it managed to take down enemy SEAD flight due to the fact that I placed it so that it was only facing the sochi airfield from the west, so it was never noticed until it was too late!

Re: Blue Flag Online
Yep Snark, so did sleipner and I, we first refueled gudauta then went from there to carry some BUKs to sochy area, one french guy we were flying with got his ass saved by a SAM site that Sleipner evilly placed. Our buks streamed past him and hit the dude who was on his 6

Re: Blue Flag Online
I fear I may not like that very much, I am fighting for the glorious REDFOR. I've been quite involved with the Beslan assault today, now it's time to reinforce Sochi/Guadata area!

Re: Blue Flag Online
Very much so, although I find the lack of teambalance a bit worrying, 18 REDFOR vs 40 BLUFOR right now, it's a shame there is no teamsize limit enforced.

Re: Blue Flag Online
didn't notice, but if so, we'll go to the commie side next mission restart. To make things clear, I'm just testing this concepts with sleip and some french taunters. so please no offence. Wait, see, analyse.

I tried to give it a go on the weekend, but every time I logged in it would not let me choose an aircraft

Re: Blue Flag Online
You have to write "red" or "blue" in chat, it will make you part of a coalition for something like 16 days, until they restart the whole thing.

Re: Blue Flag Online
Today was again filled with action, we had little time but managed to mount a buk site, a jtac and a stinger dude, who fired his goodies as soon as we got him out of the bird... I'm starting to get addicted.

Re: Blue Flag Online
It's usually a 2:1 disadvantage for red during most of sunday and monday so far. To be honest, it feels like pissing up a waterfall and I have no idea how we are holding out. We do have a few players that aggressively coordinate both over text and voice chat but heck, the admins refuse to force a playerlimit for either side of 30... If this inbalance continue's they may find red numbers dwindling at the end of the week if the general attitude is anything to go by.

Nef: have you registered as a lonewolf? If I register as a lonewolf, will that mean that I can't then register as the 1st Cav, should the 1st Cav get involved? Should I read the FAQ and find these answers out for myself?
