My name is Don and I am a former Marine. I'm 67 years old, retired and living near Indianapolis, Indiana. In a very distant past life, I served as a Plane Captain on the A-4 Skyhawk and later as a flight crew member on the CH-46 Sea Knight. I may be old, but not too old to learn and hopefully not too slow. We'll see.
I started with Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator 2 and 3, some IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 and then Falcon BMS. More recently, DCS came into my life and I've become minimally proficient in the A-10C. Now I have a new love, the Huey. I'm just learning to fly it and I have a long, long way to go and I know this unit is the place to be.
