Ive been flight simming on and off for the last 4 years but after getting DCS a couple of months ago I've really started to get into it.

Normally a fixed wing guy but got the Huey 2 days ago and boy do I love the challenge and different style of flying.

Looking forward to improving my Heli skills and flying with some other people.

Thanks for all you help guys with the multiplayer issue. tunrs out it was a problem on the dcs end and was affecting random people around the world.

Now for Newb question. what is the name of the server you guys use. I couldnt find anything 1st cav or 229 related today i just might be a spud though

Depends if anyone is hosting. We dont have a dedicated server. If someone is hosting, there usually a '229th' in the name somewhere.
I saw a couple of posts on the ED forum with the same issue that you were having, pity we didn't see them before you did the re-install.

ahh okay, that makes sense about the server then. do you guys have a set list of missions you host or just grab/use any from the mission builder part of the forum.

no probs about the reinstall. always nice to do a clean reinstall everyonce in a while

The members here have made quite a few missions, have a look in the file browsers in Teamspeak. All sorts of stuff in there, old and new. Or ask people on TS if they have any missions squirreled away that they would care to share. I'll be on later today and can share a few.
