Hello Everyone! My name is Kainicus and I would love to join your group. I have been a fan of every flight sim i could find since I was about in the 5Th grade when my father bought flight sim 95. After serving in the Marines for 10 years, I am now attending commercial Rotor wing pilot school in Cedar City, Ut. Use DCS huey as a training tool for my school and would love to have people to fly with.

Hi Kainicus...sorry to hear you're a Marine...just kidding...Semper Fi...I served sixteen years in the U.S. Army as an aviation Warrant Officer flying UH-1's and UH-60's (so I have license to rib you a little...lol). Welcome to the 229th. I believe you'll find like minded individuals here who love military aviation or just aviation in general. We have an awesome group of guys that are a blast to fly with. Get with me or one of the other Instructor Pilots and we'll get your rank and certifications completed. I look forward to flying with you.

Son of an Army CWO here. He got me into flying 40 years ago, and I just celebrated 30 years flying for Delta Airlines last November (original Northwest Orient).

Great bunch of guys here! I’m sure you’ll love flying with them. Good luck on your helo training...keep usi n the loop with stories and/or pics!
